Urla Wine Route Overnight Tour

We pick up our guests in the morning at the designated time and meeting point and set out for Urla, İzmir’s peaceful coastal town and one of the first places associated with viticulture in Türkiye from antiquity to the present day.

Over two days, we will visit different producers, each contributing to the Urla Wine Route through its own distinctive character, while also witnessing the past in Urla’s historic streets, which have hosted many cultures.

Day 1

The first tasting of the day takes place at MMG Winery, which produces boutique wines reflecting the characteristic qualities of the region through full-bodied structure, long finishes, complex aromas, and mature tannins.

At Çakır Winery, a childhood passion for viticulture and a love for the land where the family was born and raised come together in distinctive wines. Here, we enjoy a wine-paired lunch featuring Aegean flavours.

We begin the afternoon at Urla Winery with an aromatic tasting prepared from a special selection of grapes characteristic of the Urla terroir.

During the tour, we visit USCA Winery, where a passion for fine wine is reflected through inspiration drawn from William Shakespeare’s sonnets.

We conclude this enjoyable day at Urlice, Urla’s first boutique wine producer, with a wine-pairing experience accompanied by a carefully prepared menu designed to complement the wines perfectly. We then proceed to our hotel.

Day 2

After a breakfast rich in Aegean flavours, we check out of the hotel and set out for Statera Wines, which is dedicated to producing balanced, high-quality wines while placing a passion for nature and wine at the centre of its philosophy.

We enjoy a tasting and lunch at Perdix Wines, known for its limited production and high-quality approach.

The first afternoon tasting takes place at İkidenizarası Winery, which is dedicated to producing quality wines from grapes grown in some of the region’s most fertile soils.

While listening to the story of HUS Wines, known for its elegant and balanced wines as well as its award-winning cuisine, we also taste a special selection of its wines.

At Mozaik Winery, which processes each grape according to its individual needs while preserving its character and the historical heritage of the region, we enjoy the final tasting of the tour before departing for the airport.
